I just saw Hot Rod    (c).

It was pretty lame unless maybe you are a Napoleon Dynamite fan.  Anyways, I was looking up the characters and Isla Fisher looks like she might  possibly be 22 in this movie.  However she was born in 1976! So if my math is right, that would make her around 32!  WHolllllyyy Toledo!  I would never, ever, ever, in a million years guess that she was that old.  Not that 32 is old by any stretch of the imagination!  Seriously, I want to know what vitamins she takes and what her diet is. 

Sissy Spacek didn't have much of a part in this film.  It seemed way beneath her to even be a part of this flick.  You know, i never really liked her.  Ever since Carrie, I just wrote her off.  That was just too gross of a film, and that stigma stuck in my mind for years.  I have read reviews about her being a great actress, but who cares?  She's Carrie!

However Sissy Spacek's career has  done very well in spite of my never ever forgetting that she is Carrie.  To date she has over 50 credits in her filmography.  That is pretty good don't ya think?

One interesting tidbit, she was born on Christmas in 1949.  Can you imagine the bummer of being born on Christmas day?  That means that you don't have that extra birthday somewhere in the middle of the year to suck you parents bank accounts dry.  And you probably won't have your friends over for your birthday party

because they are too busy getting Christmas gifts themselves! 

I wonder if her parents planned that somehow. 

I sometimes am amazed at how I miss things like this. If you think about Linda Blair, I thought her career would be ruined because of the Exorcist.  Who can forget her head spinning around and spewing out green vomit?  That has to be ingrained in the minds of millions of people.  Now that has to be a negative stigma if there ever was one right?

However Linda has over 60 credits in her filmography.  It looks like a lot of it was television, but at least she got some work right? 

Ok so Isla, if you read this, I expect an email with your vitamins and diet.

Sissy, and Linda, hey keep it up.  I wrote you off and I was wrong.
